i n t e r SEX ion
-----------------
an adult game
Copywrite 1987 by SQ Software
W A R N I N G
This game is sexually orientated
This game contains explicit sexual language; derogatory, racial, and
otherwise generally offensive jokes and comments; and encourages sexual
activity.
This game is meant for sophisticated adults only. If you might be
offended by explicit and frank descriptions of sexual activity, take
offense at racial or sexual slurs, or otherwise find this game in bad
taste, please discard the disk. Allowing the game to fall into the
hands of minors, or removing this message, is a crime.
It is the authors firm belief that responsible, free thinking adults
in a free society may do whatever they wish behind the doors of their
own dwelling, save when it interferes with the rights of others. This
game encourages sexual activity in many different variations. You may
find some things which are offensive to you. You do not have to do
anything that you do not wish to, nor should you feel coerced by
another to do so.
The game also promotes sex education, in the form of Trivia
questions. More about that later.
Installation
------------
This program is not copy protected. The Game expects to find all of
it's data files on the same subdirectory or same floppy disk as the
program was loaded from. On a hard disk, I suggest that you make a
subdirectory, and copy all of the files to this subdirectory. If you
don't know how to do this, please consult the installation guide for
another non-copy protected program, or read a DOS book.
(registered version will contain this information)
I expect future versions of the program to have huge data files,
that will not fit onto a single floppy. Installation instructions for
running the program will be included with that version, as well as
provisions for placing some of the data on RAMdisk.
The game is Disk I/O intensive, and will run much faster from a hard
disk.
Purpose of the Game
-------------------
The purpose of this game is to have fun. There are no winners and
losers. Properties are bought and sold, you can win or lose money
through various means, and you can lose your shirt (literally), but in
no condition can a player be eliminated from the game, nor can there be
a definitive winner or loser. Some players may do better than others.
You can not run out of money. If you have a negative balance, your
choices will be limited as to what you can pay for.
You can not run out of Chickens, if you have no Chickens and the
computer asks you do do something that you or someone else does not
want to, you may simply refuse.
These terms, and others will be explained later in this document.
Your Rights as a User
---------------------
The medium that the diskette came on is warrentied to be error free
for 1 month from the time you receive it. Please make a copy of it
immediately. In fact, you are advised to make several copies of it.
If you are having any difficulty with the game, please write to the
author, and I will make every attempt to clarify and correct the
problem. I can not make phone support available at this time.
You may also contact the author on Montrose Systems BBS.

Screen-by-Screen Introduction
-----------------------------
1: Configuration
The configuration choices will be presented the first time that you
run the game. After you have configured the game, you may optionally
reconfigure by choosing option 5 on the main menu, or by deleting the
file INTERSEX.SYS before starting the game.
To choose an option, use the arrow keys to move the highlighting bar
over the choice that you would like, and hit ──┘ [enter]. Or, you may
hit the number that corresponds to your choice.
The menu choices are for configuration are presented as follows:
1) File extension for data sets. You may not want to have files
with a file extension of SEX on your disk. You may use one
of the other file extensions provided.
2) The level of the game. This applies to interSEXion only.
G: General version- good for cousins, first dates, and
Baptists. It's very, very boring.
R: Rated R- You can expect generally what you'd expect
from an R Rated movie. You can get almost there,
but not quite.
S: Sex- This is the version for sexually active, but
not daring participants. Straight, oral, and hand
sex are explicitly included. Gay players note:
Anal sex is not included at this level. You will
need to play at the K level.
K: Kinky- For the daring amoung you, this option will
include such things as anal sex, anal oral sex,
Bondage, devices, etc, are included.
O: Obscure- For the sexual 'deviants'. This option
includes such things as S&M, WaterSports, SCAT,
leather & rubber.
3) - 5) You can include or exclude Racial, Gross, and Homosexual
jokes. If you find any of these classes of jokes offensive,
please select no, and they will not be included in the game.
6) If you want sound effects, such as beeps, musical tones, etc,
then select yes. If you select no, then there will be no
sound effects at all.
THE CURRENT SOUND EFFECTS ARE CRUDE.
expect improvment.
7) The fast option opens all of the datafiles simultaniously.
You must have at least 9 free file handles available. If you
choose the fast option, and the game can not find a dataset,
you must either use the slow option, or increase the number
of available file handles. If you don't know how to do this,
please find a hacker or a DOS book.
(the registered version will contain a full explanation.)
The configuration is saved in a file called INTERSEX.SYS. You
should keep this file around if you want to use the same configuration.
If you delete it, you will have to redo the configuration each time you
play.
2: Main System Menu
From here, you may choose to play the board game, interSEXion, or
play the solitaire games: Limerick, Trivia, or Jokes. You may change
the Configuration, or exit the game. When you exit from any of the
options, you will return to this menu.
3: Warning message
Is the same as the warning message printed above. Please read it at
least once, and hit ──┘ [ENTER] to play.
4: Distribution Message
The distribution message has been removed from the BETA test.
5: BETA TEST MESSAGE
If you receive this screen, then you are playing a Pre-Release
version of the game. This version has been made available to a select
few, in order to find the bugs. PLEASE do not distribute this version
of the game to any other bulliten boards. Are there any GRAPHICS
(Turbo Pascal) programmers out there who would like to make the game a
bit more graphical? If so, please contact the author. Financial
consideration will be taken into account. Any BETA tester who makes an
effort to improve the game will be considered also. All BETA testers
will receive a complimentary, registered, copy of the game, provided
that they return their comment forms.
Again, please do not distribute TEST versions of this game.
The expected release of version 1 is July 1, 1987. Please be sure
that all comments are sent in by June 9, 1987. I will do my best to
ensure that all comments are answered.
5: Introductory Screen
Lists the Title, Manufacturer, and number of data records currently
available for each catagory. Next to the flashing "SN", is your serial
number. At the bottom of the screen, enter the number of people
playing (2-6). Enter a 0 if you wish to quit at this point. Do not
hit ──┘ [enter].
6: Player Information Screen
Enter information for each player, in turn, as follows: (The player
number is flashing). Be sure to write down your name and player number
on a sheet of paper. If you make a mistake, you will need to exit the
game and start over.
1) Player Name: 1-8 alphanumeric characters. Hit ──┘ [enter]
when the name has been entered. If you enter more than 8
characters, only the first 8 are used.
2) Gender : hit [m] if the player is Male, hit [f] if the player
is female. Do not hit ──┘ [Enter].
3) Preference: Enter the sexual preference of the player as
follows:
S) Straight (The player is strictly heterosexual)
B) Bi (The player is hetereosexual and homosexual)
G) Gay (The player is strictly homosexual)
The game will determine if players can physically get
involved, based on these preferences. For example, it
will not let a Gay man and Gay woman interSEXt, it will
let a Bi man and a Straight Woman, but not a Straight
woman and a Bi woman, etc, etc. Do not hit ──┘ [enter].
4) Player Token: Pick a token that you would like to have
represent you as you move around the board. Do not hit
[enter].
5) Player Level: The amount of clothing that you are starting
with. You may determine this as follows:
Level 1: Completely dressed-
Male) Shirt, UnderWear, Pants, Socks & Shoes
Female) Shirt or blouse, Bra, Underwear, Skirt or
Pants, Shoes and Stockings or Socks.
Level 2: Minus the Shoes and Socks
Level 3: Topless, Male) No Shirt, Female) No blouse or bra.
Level 4: Pants or skirt removed. Underwear still on.
Level 5: Totally or essentially nude.
Do not hit ──┘ [enter]. After you make this choice, the computer
will ask for the next players information, or start the game.
7: The Board
The interSEXion board is randomly generated each time the game is
played. There are 4 corner squares that always maintain their place,
28 properties to choose from, and the special squares. Each time that
the board regenerates, a random selection is made, and random prices
and rents are assigned to each property. As you get more familiar with
the game, you will be able to recognize a board that you like.
If you wish to accept a board as it is on the screen, hit [y], if
you would like to try again, hit [n]. Do not hit the ──┘ [enter] key.
In the middle of the board area is the dice roll & interSEXion box,
version notice, and player information. Note that the version notice
will be removed from the production version. If you have a Version
TEST, and it is after July 1, 1987, please contact the author or
original source of the program for a production version of the
software.
8: Player information:
Player Name: as typed by the player at the beginning of the
game.
Token: Which piece on the board represents you.
Wealth: how much you have to spend. You can have
negative money. Fixed fees are automatically
deducted from your account. If you do not have
enough money to pay, then your account becomes
negative. You may not optionally buy something,
or pay for something (Properties & Work) unless
you have enough money.
C: The current number of Chicken Outs that you have
L: Your current player level, a reflection of how
much clothing you have on.
9: Description of Squares:
a) PROPERTIES: Properties are the names of sexually famous,
infamous, and generally sexy places. All properties have a
Price, designated by the P nn, and a Rent, designated by the
R nn (where nn is a number between 1 and 99. The Price is
what you have to pay if you wish to purchase the property,
and the N is the amount of rent that you can collect if
someone else lands on it. Please see further description
listed under "Player Movement."
If you buy a property, a message will flash, informing
everyone that you are the new owner. A copy of your player
token will appear on the lower left of the square, so you can
remember what properties are yours.
b) CORNER SQUARES:
1) START: If, and only if, you land on Start, you get
$50. You get $10 for passing Start.
2) REST STOP: Players landing here have a 10% chance
of collecting 1/4 of the money paid so far for VD
and Baby Taxes. It will let you know if you are a
winner. The amount available is printed in the
square.
3) MENOPAUSE: You can go to menopause only by landing
on the square, GO TO MENOPAUSE. When you are in
Menopause, you can not interSEXt with any other
players, though you may collect rent for properties
that you own. At each turn, you may either pay the
fee, or stay. You may stay as long as you wish.
If you do not have enough money to pay the bill,
the computer will give you $10 each turn, until you
have enough to pay.
*(the fee will be included in the configuration)
4) GO TO MENOPAUSE: If you land on this space, you are
immediately moved to Menopause. You will have the
option of paying or staying on your next turn. You
do pass Start, and you do collect $10.
c) CHANCE: Win or lose money, chickens, or non-computer things,
such as your shirt, your glasses. You may have to perform
some some weird or obscure act. The computer may tell you
how many spaces your next move will be, or give you some
control over whether or not interSEXions are enabled/disabled
on your turn. If you have control over interSEXions, the
words Enabled/Disabled will flash for random times on the
screen. If you want to make a choice, hit a key when the
word is displayed. If you were fast enough, then your choice
will be the one used. If you were not fast enough, then you
may or may not have your choice.
d) ACTION: The player who lands on Action becomes the center of
attention for a potential gang bang. There is no telling how
many other players will interSEXt with the "Action" Player.
e) TRIVIA: A random sampling of sexually related topics. Enter
the number of your guess [1] --> [4]. If the computer bleeps
at you, it is because you tried to enter something other than
1, 2, 3, or 4. Do not hit ──┘ [enter]. The correct answer
will flash, and if you were correct, you win some money. If
you were wrong, you lose some money. The program will wait
for you to hit any key before continuing. The trivia is
meant to be entertaining and informative, rather than
challenging.
f) LIMERICK: Guess the correct answer to the limerick, the same
as Triva, but in addition to winning and losing money, you
can also win or lose chickens. The limericks are not
exceptionally difficult, they are meant to be entertaining,
rather than challenging.
g) BAD JOKE: The computer tells you the first part of a joke,
then waits for you to hit a key, and finishes the joke.
Jokes may be sexual, bigoted, gross, dumb, or otherwise
offensive. Nothing to be won or lost here, just fun.
h) Hospital: Woo-Woo. See what happens, or do what you are
told.
i) MONTHLY: It's a recently discovered fact that men have
monthly cycles, like women do. Getting your monthly means
losing one turn, and not being able to interSEXt for a turn.
j) BABY TAX: One of the consequences of sex is babies. Instead
of forcing you to buy diapers, we levy a tax.
k) VD: another consequence of sex is Venereal Disease.
Depending on what you catch, it will cost you between $10 and
$100 to be cured. There is no loose of turn.
10: Dictionary of Terms and other explanations:
a) LEVEL: refers to the amount of clothing that you have on.
The computer assumes that you are wearing a standard amount
of clothing for your gender, and gives you things to do based
on your current level of dress.
level 1 : totally dressed
level 2 : shoes and socks removed
level 3 : shirt or blouse and bra removed
level 4 : pants or skirt removed
level 5 : underwear removed (otherwise known as naked)
b) CHICKENS: The computer can not force you to participate in
any sexual activity that you do not want to. However, to
make things a little more adventurous, please try to
participate in all activities asked of you. If you have a
Chicken, you may ask the computer to cancel, or "chicken" an
interSEXion. That means that you do not have to do what the
computer says. Any player who has accumulated chickens can
cancel interSEXions of any other player. You may have
between 0 and 9 Chickens at any one time.
c) PAY or Work: When you land on a property that is owned by
another player, you have an option of either Paying cash for
your Rent, or Working for it. If you choose to pay, and do
not have enough money, the computer checks to see if you can
Work for your rent. If you choose to work, the computer
checks to be sure that an interSEXion between you and the
owner is OK. If you can not pay, and can not work, the turn
is voided. If you choose to play, the Owner will 'draw' an
Action Card. You must do whatever the Action Card says to
the Owner.
d) InterSEXions: (are enabled/disabled) Every time a player
rolls for his or her turn, InterSEXions is randomly
determined. There is a 65% chance of interSEXions being
enabled. If interSEXions are enabled, and you land on the
same square as another player with whom you can interSEXt,
you will. The player who was there to begin with draws the
Action card.
*(I plan on making the percentage an option in the configuration)
11: Player Movement:
a) The bar indicating who's turn it is moves to the row of the
player about to move.
b) The die roll, and total up, or if predetermined by chance,
the total shows up.
c) interSEXions are randomly enabled or disabled, or if allowed
by chance, you hit a key to enable or disable interSEXions.
d) The token representing the player is moved, one square at a
time, to the new location. If you have Sound enabled, the
computer will emit a short beep for each square. On color
monitors, the token will change colors.
e) The computer will determine what happens next by the type of
square landed on. In most cases, when the computer asks you
to make a choice, it is not necessary, and you should not,
hit the ──┘ [enter] key. If the computer displays a message
for you to read, it will ask you to hit any key to continue.
Hitting almost any key (the shift keys and a few others won't
work) will continue with the game. If you land on a property
that is for sale, and can not afford it, the computer will
not give you a choice. It will not offer it to you.
f) Precedence of processing:
1- SquareType: the first thing you do when on a square
is determined by the square type.
2- interSEXions, if enabled, are processed.
- You may work for an owner, and interSEXt with that
owner, in the same move.
3- your new wealth, level, and Chickens are displayed.
4- A random price for a Chicken purchase will be
determined. If you have enough money, the computer
will ask you if you wish to purchase a chicken for
the price. You must answer Y or N.
5-Your new wealth, level, and chickens are displayed
g) The computer will wait for any key to be hit before
continuing with the next players turn.
Comments and Feedback
---------------------
To make this a better game, please print the file: COMMENT.FRM,
complete it, and return it to the author.
Then send this form, along with a check for $100,000 to the author,
or contact him(?) on the Montrose Systems BBS, userid 1204. If
contacting the author by BBS, please be sure to be specific when
describing a bug or problem. Statements like: "It didn't work" don't
help things.
Above all, I hope that you all enjoy playing this as much as I
enjoyed writing it.
